Charity wakes up from a nightmare,
late for work at a restaurant, where Andrea is serving breakfast
to a homeless man. Michael, the man Andrea bumped into
while visiting the Celestial Exchange Agency stops in for
breakfast. He immediately recognizes her and her halo.
During a night out with Charity to
her boyfriend Dean, Andrea pushes a little girl out of the path
of an oncoming car. Michael, who has been trailing her
sees this, and takes it on himself to train her.
Over the next two years, the two
train, and fall in love. Andrea begins to build her Angel
wing, and the last feather is delivered by Michael shortly
before leaving for the Transit Tower, a skyscraper where Michael
spends a lot of time.
While there, Michael gives her a
gift, the teddy bear angel from the beginning of the series.
Enais immediately physically forms and topples Michael off the
building. Andrea attempts to save him but her halo finally
exhausts her power.
Michael's attempts to save himself
are all deflected by Enais, who reveals herself to be Abaddon.
Michael falls on a car, dying on impact. His spirit form
is then immediately consumed by Abaddon, who challenges Andrea
to a hunt the next day before finally disappearing.
That night, a shadow attempts to
consume what's left of Andrea's power only to be confronted by a
shadow with blue magic, who drives him off.
Andrea implies that she was
homeless for a time, spending nights in a storm drain before
finally finding a job. Ten years have passed since the
Charity's dream also implies that
Faith had left her sisters behind and that Hope killed herself
nine years ago.
Andrea now works at a restaurant,
which she owns half of. She takes in the homeless, feeds
them, then tells them where they can find work. Her halo
has gone very dark and is very faded.
Michael, the man who Andrea bumped
into in the Celestial Exchange Agency, stops in for breakfast,
but only after his guardian Enais tells him too. His uses
his green power liberally, recognizes Andrea's halo immediately,
and saw that the Celestial Exchange Agency was riddled with
shadows. However, he has no problem manipulating others
using his magic as we see in Part Four Panel 5 and Part Sixteen
Panels 3 and 4.
Andrea enjoys archery.
Michael has been trailing Andrea
for days, however Andrea has known.
Andrea has been operating under the
belief that her halo is drained every time she uses magic.
Michael, however, teaches her how to recharge over the next two
years, although it doesn't seem to be recharging her halo.
Over the two years of training,
Andrea falls in love with Michael.
Andrea's recharging vessel is
recharging with the color yellow.
The bear Andrea talks to at the
beginning of the series was a gift from Michael.
While trying to save Michael,
Andrea's halo glows brightly before finally disappearing
After Enais topples Michael down
from the Transit Tower, she reveals herself to be Abaddon, who
had consumed Enais, Michaels guide, years before.
Andrea is protected by a blue
shadow, later to be revealed as a member of the Misericordia.
